Do you have a student perfect for MADURA?

Our MADURA Program benefits from a diverse range of dedicated, multi-disciplinary experts who serve as Placement Site Mentors in various campus labs. They conduct research projects related to Aging and Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementia's (AD/RD), and welcome students to learn from active participation in their projects.

MADURA undergraduate students receive hands-on experiences on these research projects, and Mentorship from their Investigators, as well as from associated research staff and graduate students. 

 If you have a student already interested in your lab or one of your classes and they identify as a member of an Underrepresented Minority (see eligibility flyer on home page), please contact Dr. Thompson. Many of our current Mentees were recommended or brought in by an existing faculty mentor.
